TibetWrites has organised hundreds of literary events, including reading retreats, a writing residency, and panel discussions. In 2024, in collaboration with the Tibet Fund, it organised the first Tibetan Artists Festival in Dharamsala, bringing together writers and musicians from the US, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, and India. The three-day event was a landmark occasion, featuring discussions and panels on language, identity, music, society, and politics. The festival also led to the formation of the Tibetan Arts Council in 2026.
TibetWrites continues to publish and champion a new generation of Tibetan writers.
