by Phuntsok Wanggyal

Phuntsok Wangyal, a renowned Tibetan revolutionary and philosopher, was imprisoned and put in solitary confinement for 18 long years in the infamous Qingcheng jail in the early 60s. During those years he devoted himself to contemplation and researched numerous classical works and modern scientific books to begin work on his own book. Although the author had never traveled to the moon, based on dialectical reasoning and philosophical theories, he concluded that the moon will have water in some form existing upon it. Years later in 1994, as the book was nearing printing stage, NASA announced that they had discovered several billion tons of ice at the South Pole of the Moon. Then in 1996 the American Department of Defense made a similar announcement stating discovery of possible glacial lakes at the South Pole of the Moon. These two important discoveries proved the theory that Phuntsok Wanggyal had stated years before. This book is the English version of the 800,000 characters that the author wrote on the subject.
